What is Spectral DNC®?

Spectral DNC® is the most effective treatment for male baldness, specifically androgenic alopecia and other types of hereditary hair loss.
As a topical treatment, its role in hair regrowth is clinically proven, and has been shown to be significantly more effective than any other topical treatment used to fight hair loss, including Rogaine®.

Through extensive research and testing, dermatologists found that the combination of retinol (a vitamin-A derived substance) and Minoxidil produced significantly better results compared to the isolated administration of minoxidil. Retinol contributes to normal functioning of the sebaceous glands. The sebaceous glands produce sebum on the scalp. This sebum contains DHT (DHT is a hormone produced from testosterone and is considered the androgen responsible for male baldness types), which is then reabsorbed into the hair follicles and has deleterious effects. Restoring the normal functioning of the sebaceous glands and their production of sebum can help balance the DHT concentrations of the skin covering the scalp. Associated with Minoxidil, Retinol helps prevent hair loss related to androgen.

The vitamin complex is rich in biotin and minerals. It provides a source of energy and accelerates the metabolism of hair follicles. Physical and emotional stress contributes to hair loss through hormonal disorders as well as the formation of vitamin and minerals. In this case the body’s metabolism accelerates, activating hormone production which in turn stimulates the sebaceous glands. This causes the formation of fat in the scalp which “suffocates” the roots, weakening the hair and causing it to fall. These factors may be the cause of baldness and can accelerate hereditary baldness.

What are the Effects of Spectral DNC®?

Spectral DNC® works to improve circulation to the scalp and address free radicals with powerful antioxidants that can stop the damage these compounds can cause. DS Laboratories proprietary nanosomes act as a carrier enhancement agent. These nanosomes are about 10 times smaller then cells and penetrate deep into the epidermis to continuously release the active herbal extracts over a 12-hour period. This allows penetration deeper into the hair follicle than other carrier agents including Tretinoin or Azelaic Acid and further enhances the performance of all the ingredients in Spectral.DNC.

Using proprietary technology, Spectral DNC® features minute microspheres called nanosomes (about ten times smaller than cells) as a carrier enhancement agent, to penetrate the epidermis layer of the skin and continuously release the active ingredients over a 12-hour period. However, many users who did not respond to the Rogaine or Aminexil treatment may see results with Spectral DNC® including users with advanced stages of hair loss. You can also expect more pronounced and faster results (thicker fuller hair with results after just 3 months of use) then with either Rogaine or Aminexil alone.

Similar to other hair loss treatments including Rogaine and Aminexil, Spectral DNC® is most effective when used at the first signs of hair loss. If your hair loss is caused by hereditary factors then continued use will be required to maintain new hair growth. If you discontinue use of Spectral DNC® then hair that grew under the treatment will begin to fall out over a period of 2–3 months. There is no “cure” for hair loss; Spectral.DNC® simply helps to control hair loss.

If your hair loss is the result of hereditary factors, continued use of Spectral.DNC® will be needed to maintain hair re-growth. Discontinued use of this product may cause hair that grew during treatment to fall out over a period of 2-3 months. While there is no cure for hair loss, Spectral.DNC® may help to slow thinning and control hair loss, promoting the growth of new healthy hair strands.

If your hair loss is related to diet, mental, emotional and physical stress, hormone changes and other factors, you may completely discontinue the use of Spectral DNC® and keep the new growth.

What are the Active Ingredients in Spectral DNC®?

Minoxidil 5%: Shown in clinical studies to be an effective agent in re-growing hair. Approved by the FDA for the treatment of male pattern baldness, 5% minoxidil solution has been used for over 15 years. The way minoxidil works is not yet fully understood, further research is need.

Aminexil SP94: Clinically shown to effectively re-grow hair, Aminexil SP94 is a proprietary molecule that resulted from over 10 years of research at the L’Oreal laboratories.
