Act Quickly!

There are some remedies to stop hair loss, but resources are much more limited in respect to regrowth. It is therefore important to consult a professional when the first symptoms of hair on the pillow in the morning arise.

Androgenic alopecia reaches 50-70% of men and 40-50% of Caucasian women!

The life cycle of the hair is divided into three phases:

  • Anagen Phase – Growth of hair (4 years)
  • Catagen Phase – Regression (3 weeks)
  • Telogen Phase – Death of hair (4 months)

Within three months of hair loss, hair follicles begin a new growth cycle in the germinal zone. This activates new hair growth. But if DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) is present in large amounts, this can cause an atrophy of hair follicles at the crown of the head, forehead and temples. Therefore, the growth cycle is reduced and leaves room for alopecia.
