What is Minoxidil?

Minoxidil is the first hair loss treatment clinically proven to have preventive action on hereditary hair loss. Resulting in significant positive activity, minoxidil solution has been used globally by more than 5 million adults. Following a survey of 7,000 users, 80% of them said it had stimulated hair growth.

What is the mode of action of Minoxidil?

Minoxidil moves hair follicles from a resting phase into a stage of growth, reviving hair.

Researchers believe that minoxidil works by increasing circulation, stimulating blood flow to the scalp area and feeding cells essential nutrients needed for hair growth. But it may also help to increase the number of these cells. Studies are still being conducted.

With the daily use of minoxidil for men, studies have shown improvements in hereditary hair loss in 4 out of 5 men – in just four months! Medium to high regrowth was recorded in 50% of users after 12 months of use.
